The Table Jeunesse Papineau (TJP) represents youth from 12 to 35 years old and promotes their participation in regional development. It works to stimulate community and regional development by encouraging youth citizenship and supporting youth-run projects. The Table Jeunesse Papineau is supported by the CLD Papineau.

Goals
- Represent the interests of youth from 12 to 35 years old in the MRC Papineau.
- Counter rural decline, encourage retention and foster a sense of belonging among youth in the region.
- Promote youth participation and integration in social, economic and political activities in the MRC Papineau.
- Increase the visibility of the Table jeunesse and its activities among municipal officials, youth and the general population.

Members
All youth from 12 to 35 years old living or working in the MRC Papineau are automatically members of the Table Jeunesse Papineau. They can therefore benefit from the technical support of the coordinator to guide them in their projects. They can also choose to become actively involved on the board of directors.
Project Support
The Table Jeunesse Papineau can help youth and organsiations start up projects. The TJP coordinator is available to coach you in the evolution of your project: project scope, financial planning and budgeting, financing, monitoring, training, referrals to specialised services, promotion and advertising. Financial support is also available for youth projects through the Fonds de développement jeunesse of the CLD Papineau and the Fonds régional d’investissement jeunesse of the Table Jeunesse Outaouais.
Fonds de développement jeunesse
The Fonds de développement jeunesse is a fund run by the CLD Papineau dedicated to supporting promising youth initiatives. The Table Jeunesse Papineau makes recommendations on projects submitted for funding under this program.
